Founded in October 2009 by Sergio Guerrero, SEG Engineering (SEG) began as a minority veteran-owned sole proprietorship in New Braunfels, Texas. Since its inception, SEG has grown steadily, restructuring as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in October 2015 and expanding its leadership team in February 2023 to include Mr. Hector M. Ramirez and Mr. Edward Paiz alongside Mr. Guerrero.

Today, SEG Engineering provides specialized electrical consulting services to electric utility providers as well as the Architectural and Engineering (A&E) industry, delivering practical, reliable, and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of its clients.

SEG Engineering provides comprehensive consulting services to the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry, including substation engineering, overhead and underground distribution design, customer and developer services, pole structural analysis, street lighting design, and right-of-way permitting. Our experienced team leverages industry-leading engineering software and maintains extensive knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements affecting the medium-voltage sector. Through long-standing partnerships and ongoing projects, SEG has developed strong working relationships with utilities throughout South Central Texas.
